Large vacuum furnaces need to be frequently tested on temperature uniformity, and generally need to design a thermocouple vacuum feedthrough equipment (thermocouple feedthroughs) on the vacuum furnace.

Thermocouple vacuum feedthrough is part of the thermocouple measurement circuit. Due to the high temperature in the furnace, conventional compensation wires cannot be used to connect thermocouples inside and other instruments outside. The wire used inside the feedthrough equipment needs to be the same as the connected thermocouple's wire in type and accuracy and should be calibrated like a regular thermocouple to make sure there are no deviations between before and after results of the thermocouple feedthrough deployment. To this end, our company has developed patented products such as dockable MIMS thermocouple and detachable thermocouple vacuum feedthroughs.

Each thermocouple on the thermocouple vacuum feedthrough is detachable, calibrate-ready, and replaceable, creating accurate temperature measurement conditions for the vacuum furnace industry and reducing the user cost. It is the replacement product for fixed thermocouple vacuum feedthroughs.

 

 

Technical Characteristics

 

● Each thermocouple on the thermocouple vacuum feedthroughs is an example of a dockable MIMS thermocouple structure, thus could be detached from the flange and replaced if needed. For calibration of each feedthrough, we only need to detach the part that is inside of the furnace and weld or twist the two wires together to form a hot end to perform calibration.
● Fixed type and detachable type.
● Fixed flange, fixed thread, quick-release flange. Jack panel can be equipped if demands (including the panel bracket and plug socket).
● From 4~24 pieces thermocouples.
● Thermocouple type: K, N, E, J
● Tolerance: I or II class
● Part inside furnace: MIMS thermocouples, PTFE or fiber insulated thermocouples
● Thermocouple plugs thermal class: 200℃, 400℃, 600℃
