Tungsten rhenium vacuum thermocouple is currently the highest temperature-measuring thermocouple. Its major usage is to measure temperature in vacuum, hydrogen, and inert atmosphere. The maximum measuring temperature reaches 2500℃. There are C, D, and A types have been specified. Our Tungsten rhenium vacuum thermocouple are made of specialized molybdenum, tantalum, tungsten, and corundum protective tubes which are filled with insulators, and assembled together under a vacuum or protective atmosphere with a seal.

Duchin promoted tungsten-rhenium thermocouple in 1997,participating in customized national standards "tungsten-rhenium thermocouples wire and indexing table "and industry standards"tungsten-rhenium thermocouples technical conditions",applied for national patent(ZL 2012 2 0676417.6) On 10th Dec 2012.

Scope of application: C type is the dominant type, valid temperature measurement range is 426~2315℃ which is specified in international and national standards. A and D types are less popular, A type is already defined in international and national standards, D type is not listed in international standards yet.

Accuracy: 4.0℃ or 0.5·t/℃ tolerance for 1st class, 2nd class tolerance is 1.0·t/℃.

Test calibration: It can only been tested or calibrated in vacuum or inert atmosphere, the specified max calibration temperature is 1700℃.
