The soft thermocouple is a special thermocouple developed according to the temperature measurement needs of a small place where the temperature is not high, it is a semi-finished product that uses plastic, PTFE and glass fiber insulation to process the thermocouple wire into a semi-finished product like a flexible cable, and then makes the measuring end, terminal and installation fixture. The insulating material determines the operating temperature of the soft thermocouple, and the maximum operating temperature of the above three insulating materials is 105°C, 250°C, and 500°C.

Compared with conventional thermocouples, there is no protective tube, cannot be equipped with junction box, and cannot be processed into an integrated temperature transmitter. It is widely used to test the solid temperature of motor bearings, windings, metal molds, surfaces, etc., and the measurement of air furnace temperature less than 500°C. Especially used to test the temperature uniformity of large furnaces less than 500°C, it has a valence advantage that cannot be matched by conventional thermocouples/thermal resistances, and the diameter of the wire or lead wire is 0.03, 0.10, 0.20, 0.35, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0mm?, and the corresponding diameters are 0.20, 0.35, 0.52, 0.65, 0.80, 0.97, and 1.13mm.
