About protection tube material
For oxide environment temperature above 900℃,always use 2520(310S),when higher than 1000℃,always consider GH3039,Inconel600 and 99% Al2O3 protection tube. When temperature up to 1300℃,just 99% Al2O3 tube have to be considered.
About Process connection
For non-sealing environment, the thermocouple can be without thread or flange. For sealing environment, have to with thread or flange. The process connection is depended on your device.
