How to select a thermocouple manufacturer

1. Qualification Compliance: This is the baseline; manufacturers without compliant qualifications should be excluded immediately. Focus on verifying whether they hold the CMC Metrological License (a mandatory national requirement to ensure accuracy) and ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification. For some high-end scenarios, additional certifications for explosion protection and corrosion resistance should also be checked.

2. Technical Strength: Judge professionalism through details. You can request third-party accuracy test reports (e.g., checking if the error meets Class 1/Class 0.5 standards) and inquire about the material sources and production processes of their core components (such as thermocouple wires). Manufacturers with independent R&D capabilities are usually more reliable.

3. Product Adaptability: Avoid the trap of "one-size-fits-all" products. High-quality manufacturers will first gain a deep understanding of your operating conditions (e.g., temperature range, whether the medium is corrosive, and whether there is vibration) before recommending or customizing suitable products (such as platinum-rhodium thermocouples for high temperatures and Hastelloy protective tubes for corrosive environments), rather than directly promoting fixed models.
