Type J Thermocouple Wire

Thermocouple compensation wire is specialized for connecting thermocouple with display instrument or control system.Within a certain temperature range, a pair of mutually insulated wires has the same thermoelectric characteristics as the connected thermocouple wires is called a pair of thermocouple compensation wires.

Type J thermocouple wire is divided into extend-type and compensation-type according to the core material, normal type (VV) and heat-resistant type (FF, BB) according to the operating temperature, and normal class and precision class according to the accuracy decided by thermoelectric characteristics. In order to ensure measurement accuracy, the compensation wire with the same type code must be used between the thermocouple and the display instrument. It is not allowed to use ordinary copper wires and cables or compensation wires are not clear on their consistency.
